Our family needs help finding some sources, the works of Gaspar FRUTOSO, specifically his six-volume set "Saudades da Terra," are incredibly hard to find. They document the early culture, history, and genealogy of the Azores. Even a xerox copy would make you an Azorean genealogy hero. There is also a genealogist (sadly now deceased) on whose work I have relied heavily, Rodrigo RODRIGUES. Drawing partly on Frutuoso's work and partly on his own extensive research, he wrote a 10 volume set of his complete genealogy of the prominent families of the Azores. It was his life's work putting together, but only one volume had been published when I went looking for it. I have a copy of this first volume. There was word a second volume might come out, if his heirs could pay for their publication. If anyone knows if more volumes have been published, or even when they might be published, I would appreciate it.
