I am looking for information on my GGGGrandfather. His name was Hugh BRITT, Sr. Family stories have him arriving from Ireland about 1770 to 1790. He lived in S.C. in 1790, and a few years later, he settled in Gwinnette/DeKalb county in Georgia. His wife was named Mary, and they had 6 children all settled in Georgia except their son Henry, who settled in Alabama.
