I have been looking for my gg grandfather for quite some time.
Records show him dying while crossing the plains in Santa Clara,
Washington Co., Utah. His name is Alsen (or OLSEN) HAMBLIN.
He was born in Ohio in 1848, son of Isaiah and Daphne HAYNES
HAMBLIN. He is also a brother to Jacob HAMBLIN. I have made
two trips to St. George and Santa Clara and can find no sign of
him, just his family. Where do I go next? I found his divorced wife buried at Beaver,
she had been married twice after leaving Alsen. Her name was Ann RICHARDS. He
had been married twice and divorced twice, with temple approval or whatever it's
called.
