I am searching for ancestors related to the children of Gunder ANDERSON(b 1830) and Mathea ELLINGSEN, who lived in Lier in Buskerud, Norway, then moved to the RUUD farm in Sande, Vestfold. From there after the father died, the family was converted to the Mormon faith. Brothers Anders and Bernt emigrated to the Logan area in 1881 and used RUUD for their surname. Mother Mathea came in 1882 with daughters Andrine and Gunhild (called Nellie). Nellie became the second wife of James QUAYLE, a mayor of Logan. I have researched five to fifteen generations of ancestors which I am willing to share. I would like to find photographs, papers, and other family heirlooms to copy and to find someone who knows what happened to Andrine. I have found only a couple of ancestors of Anders and Nellie. My family comes through Bernt.
