- James Neils CHRISTENSEN , born 1853 in Denmark, died 1896 in Logan
(Avalanche on Temple Fork)
- Anna Sophia JEPPSEN (wife of James) born 1857 in Denmark, died 1934 in
Brigham City
In my family history research, I came across a distant relative who once lived in
Logan. Her maiden name was
Nellie JONES, born in California in 1868. Her parents
were
Eleanor and Hugh JONES. Her mother was my great-great grandmother's
sister. By the 1880 census, she had lost her father and was living with her mother
and three other siblings in Salt Lake City. She married
Frank HARRIS in Logan in
1890 in the Logan Temple. I am not sure how many children they had, but I have
found two of them:
Nellie HARRIS, born 1894 and
Frank H HARRIS, born 1896, died
1901. In 1904,
Frank HARRIS married another person,
Rosa HUGHES. I do not know
whether
Nellie passed away or whether they divorced, if so, whether she re- married
or not. If anyone can help me find her predecessors, please contact Liz at
